Up in the Mountains (Koda x Absko)

(Their ship name should be Koko-

Outside the vast land where Absko’s and Koda’s tribes laid was a vast winter. The land was being coated in an icy snow, the little flakes sticking to the dirt flooring and piling on and on with the strong gusts of wind sometimes moving the sticky flakes. As Absko’s tribe resided in their tents and huts, each filled with a small supply of food needed. Along, with all the entry ways blocked and things alike barricaded to keep the cold out Imari and his young son, Kalei, were both in their own hut. The both lying peacefully together to keep warm through the nipping cold.

As the two laid, Imari staring at the ceiling and listening to the howling wind with Kalei on his chest, the little boy dozing off, the child asked “Dad, where are Uncle Absko and his husband Koda?”

A soft chuckle left Imari, he always found it adorable to hear Kalei call Absko uncle, which normally would tick him off but slowly oblige to the title. He pet his head and said “Their up in the mountains performing their rituals of tradition. That you’ll one day may experience as well.” Kalei looked up at his father, tilting his head a bit confused “What kind of traditions?” he asked. Kalei’s only response from his father was another pat on the head and the cliched parent promise “I’ll tell you when your older.”

Up in the tall peaking mountains, where the snow piled on and on and the noises of wind were much more vocal, laid Koda’s pack. The people in the tribe were in their own dens with their mate.
