( I’m so sorry because it’s probably annoying, since this can be considered changing the way you wanted the story to be but well, Lynn doesn’t has to accept so choice is still yours-) Okay, Lynn, listen, I now someone related to a scientist..If you allow me to get a bit of your mate’s DNA and a bit of yours..I might be able to get them to create kids with you guys’ DNA but…logically those kids would be made in a laboratory….
Lynn is still going through trauma, if you did that, it would put more salt on the wound and more stress for his soul.
